How it plays

Four phases. 10 min.

Inside Out is part icebreaker, part deduction game. The host picks a secret word; everyone except one randomly-chosen player sees it. Each player gives a one-line description that hints at the word without naming it. Then the room votes on who didn’t see the prompt.

Why teams use it

It works because it’s structured.

01

Reveals communication style

You learn how people frame ideas under constraint.

02

Funny without being awkward

The bluffing creates laughs without anyone being on the spot.

03

Works in mixed groups

New hires and veterans both win — language savvy beats tenure.
